The smile when you peak bag a mountain

Randall was once a 280 lbs couch potato that never leaves the house and hates the outdoor. At risk of diabetes and heart disease, he made a life changing decision towards a healthy lifestyle in the process losing 100 lbs and never turned back since then. He became an endurance athlete, a mountain eating mountain goat, and a risk taking adventurer that has done numerous extreme hikes including the Cactus to Cloud (C2C) Hike 14 times and a double rim crossing in the Grand Canyon (R2R2R) twice. Also in the process completed a list of endurance races including an Ironman triathlon twice (2.4 mile swim, 110 mile bike, 26.2 run), the notorious swim Escape from Alcatraz Prison triathlon, the Chimera 100 miler mountain run, and the San Diego 100 mile endurance run along with a list of 50 milers and 50k races including the rugged Zane Grey 50 and brutal Los Pinos 50k. While that is not enough, he is also studying full time towards his Masters in the College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University with a focus on management and also balancing work as a Medical Auditor and Coder.

The notorious Escape from Alcatraz which involves swimming from Alcatraz Prison to San Francisco.
